The Intrafix® SafeSet Infusion System is equipped with an AirStop membrane in the drip chamber, containing a filter membrane (≤ 15 μm) that protects against large particles. The membrane acts as a barrier, preventing the entry of air into the connection line. At the end of the line, there is a PrimeStop protective cap, which features a hydrophobic, bacteria-tight membrane. This not only prevents the escape of liquids but also ensures automatic venting of the infusion line. The sharp piercing spike allows for easy insertion, while the bacteria-tight ventilation with a closure cap offers additional protection. The flexible pump chamber allows for quick and easy adjustment of the fluid level. The system is pressure-resistant up to 2 bar and compatible with infusion pumps designed for tubing with a diameter of 3 x 4.1 mm. The Luer-Lock connection ensures a secure fit. Additionally, the infusion system is latex-free, PVC-free, DEHP-free, and made from Neutrapur material.
